I want to own everything from Litographs. If you don’t know, Litographs’ posters, t-shirts, and tote bags are all created entirely from the text of classic books. Currently, they’re taking all my money because I must have it all.
Hey everyone, hope you’ve read some good books lately or at least have time to read at all.
This post here is to introduce The Seas Apparel, a shirt store based off this blog, A Sea of Quotes. Why The Seas? I don’t know. Because it was a notch less worse than A Sea of Shirts? Because I never expected to stick with the name A Sea of Quotes so let’s just keep rolling with this sea motif? Because although for now The Seas is based off literature/reading/that sort of thing it might expand into something more? Whatever the reason, it’s here and this post is just a sample of what’s in the online store.
Among the shirts are those that support this blog and support reading. There are shirts of punctuation marks. Shirts designed as title pages of novels (as of now there’s only Pride and Prejudice and Sherlock Holmes but more will be added in the future), and also books listing popular writers in certain genres. Above are the Existentialist writers and Romantic poets but the store also has American poets and Russian writers among others and more of these types of shirts will also be designed later on. And of course, although they have yet to appear in the store, quotes on shirts will definitely be available in the future. An important thing to understand, however, is that I don’t want to sell anything copyrighted, so whatever literature’s mentioned in the store will unlikely be recent, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be bad, right? :)
I didn’t expect to announce the store so early but I wanted to give you guys the chance to take advantage of FREE SHIPPING (!!!!!) on JUNE 21 due to International T-Shirt Day. Use this coupon code: TDAY2013 when purchasing for free standard shipping.
So go ahead and visit the online store here if you haven’t already and if you see anything you like, buy it! Just a quick bit of information on the shirts: the shirts themselves are by American Apparel, available for women and men fit from sizes S to XXL, and available in the colors white, black, heather gray (fancy name for gray), kelly green (fancy name for green), pink, lemon (fancy name for yellow), brown, asphalt (fancy name for dark grey), raspberry (fancy name for dark pink), sky blue, purple, red, and navy.
Expect more updates of The Seas coming to your dash! To make up for the blog’s own advertising (since I know how annoying those advertisements on Tumblr can be) I’ll make up for it by adding extra quotes for whichever days I post about The Seas. :)
I think that’s about it. Thanks for listening, following, supporting and everything!
I’ve always been a huge fan of this blog and now they’re selling adorable shirts. How could I not want to purchase them?
